Website hosting, forms and subscriptions
This website is hosted through Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, Cloudflare may process technical connection information, such as IP addresses and request metadata, to deliver and protect the website. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
The current website uses a static HTML page, its own scripts and local/browser fonts. It does not intentionally set advertising or analytics cookies. The route-network animations run in your browser.
The Early Access mailing list has not yet been activated. The website currently does not collect email addresses through its Early Access section. When the list opens, we will update this notice to identify the service provider, explain the use of your contact information, and provide the opt-in terms. We will use a separate consent-based form and an unsubscribe facility.
The optional feedback link opens Google Forms. The form's email collection is set to “Do not collect”. You may still choose to include personal information in your answers, and Google may process technical information. We recommend not including sensitive information in bug reports.
1. Who provides RunwayRise
RunwayRise is an independently developed airline-management game published by Rand Productions, the developer name shown on Google Play. For privacy questions, contact randprd@proton.me.
Rand Productions is the public developer name for this game. This notice covers the Android game; any future website mailing list will have separate privacy information.
2. Game information stored locally
You can play RunwayRise without registering an account or supplying your name, email address, contacts or precise location. The game stores your airline name, save slots, aircraft and routes, finances, achievements, preferences and other progress in storage on your device.
The reviewed offline game does not automatically send this saved progress to a developer-operated server. You may choose to export, import or share a save file; in that case the file is handled by the storage or sharing service you select.
3. Android cloud backup and restoration
RunwayRise is designed to allow Android’s automatic backup and device-to-device transfer features. Depending on your device, operating-system version, backup settings and eligibility of the app data, Google/Android may back up copies of your game data to your Google Account and restore them when you reinstall the game or set up another device.
These backups are managed by Google and your device, rather than uploaded to a RunwayRise game server. Clearing the app’s local data or uninstalling it does not necessarily erase a backup already held by Android. You can manage device backups using your Android/Google Account settings. See Google’s Android backup guidance.
4. Offline game resources and optional websites
The current reviewed game bundles its map data, Leaflet map library and display fonts inside the HTML. Normal startup of the reviewed HTML does not require requests to Google Fonts, Cloudflare cdnjs or Esri map servers.
If you deliberately open the bug-report form, a licence or source website, or another external link, your browser or chosen app connects to the relevant website. That service can receive ordinary technical connection information, such as your IP address, browser/device information and request time, under its own privacy terms.
5. Feedback and support
The “Report a Bug” button opens an optional Google Form. You decide whether to use it and what details you provide. The reviewed form setting is “Do not collect” for email addresses, but Google may process information you enter and technical information associated with accessing the form; email collection and sign-in requirements must be confirmed by the publisher.
We use information you voluntarily send through bug reports or by email to investigate problems and respond to you. Please do not submit passwords, financial information or unnecessary sensitive information. We keep support information only while reasonably necessary to investigate, respond, maintain an issue record or comply with applicable legal obligations, and review old reports for deletion.
The support form is provided by Google; see Google’s Privacy Policy. The form’s email-collection setting was verified as “Do not collect” on 4 November 2026. The response-retention procedure remains a pre-publication check.
6. Advertising, analytics and purchases
No advertising or analytics SDK was identified in the game source and older Android package examined for this notice. RunwayRise does not require a player account in that reviewed version.
If you purchase RunwayRise through Google Play, Google processes the store purchase, payment and related records under its own policies. The game does not ask you to enter payment-card details. The final Android package must be checked before the publisher makes definitive Google Play Data Safety declarations.
7. Purposes and lawful bases
The ordinary game-save information described above is processed locally so the game can operate and remember your progress; the publisher does not routinely receive it through the reviewed app. For personal information you voluntarily send in a bug report or support email, we rely, where appropriate, on our legitimate interests in providing support, diagnosing defects and maintaining the game, balanced against your privacy rights. We may retain specific records when necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
You do not have to send a bug report to play the game. There is no automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects from the game data described in this notice.
8. Who may receive information
The developer does not receive routine copies of your local game saves through the reviewed game. Google may process information independently when you choose to use Google Forms, Google Play or Android backup. Other external websites receive information only if you choose to open them. You may also disclose save files to apps or people you select when using export or sharing features.
Google may process data outside the UK according to its policies and relevant transfer arrangements. For information you send directly to the developer by email or a form, contact the privacy address above to ask about processing or international transfer safeguards where applicable.
9. How long data is kept and how to remove it
Local game progress remains on your device until you clear or replace it, erase app storage, or uninstall the app (subject to any restored Android backup). Android cloud-backup retention is controlled by Google and your device settings. Information sent for support is retained only while needed for the purposes explained above and reviewed periodically for deletion; there may be exceptions for ongoing disputes or legal obligations.
The publisher cannot access or remove a copy of a game save that exists only on your device or in a backup managed by your Google Account. For bug reports or direct correspondence, email randprd@proton.me to request access or deletion where legally applicable.
10. Your privacy rights and complaints
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights to be informed, access, rectify, erase or restrict personal information, object to certain processing, and request data portability. In particular, you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise applicable rights, email randprd@proton.me.
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk if you believe your personal information has been handled improperly.
11. Younger players
The game does not require an account or ask for personal details to play. If a child wishes to send a bug report or support email, a parent or responsible adult should help them avoid sharing unnecessary personal information. The game’s target-audience and Families declarations must be checked against the final Google Play listing.
12. Security and updates
RunwayRise uses local device storage for normal gameplay. Android backup protection depends on the platform and user settings; optional external websites operate under their own security and privacy practices. No system is completely risk-free.
We will review this notice when the app, its third-party services or its data handling changes. Contact randprd@proton.me with questions.
